Circumference at top: 6 ½” (7 ½”, 9 ½”)/ 16.5cm (19cm, 24cm)
Circumference at bottom: 5 ½” (6”, 8”)/ 14cm (15.5cm, 20cm)
Length (incl. ruffle): 8”, 9”, 10”/ 20cm (23cm, 25.5cm)
Ruffle: 2.5” (6.5cm)

Let’s get started… (make 2)
Ribbing:
With 5.00 mm/US H8 hook and MC; ch 11, leaving a long tail for sewing later. [11]
Row 1: Starting in the second ch from the hook; sc in each st to the end, turn [10]
Rows 2 – 24 (30, 36): ch 1, sc tbl in each sc across, turn
Your ribbing should measure approximately 16.5 cm (19 cm, 24 cm)/6 1/2″ (7 1/2″, 9 1/2″) [10]
Do not fasten off or turn at the end of the final row. We will now work in the row ends along the side of the ribbing.
Arm:
Still using 5.00 mm/US H8 hook and MC
Rnd 1 (RS): ch 1, sc in each row end across to the end of the ribbing, turn [24, 30, 36]
Rnd 2: ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn [24, 30, 36]
Rnd 3: Change to 5.50 mm/US I9 hook; ch 1, sc in each st across, sl st join to the first sc to begin working in the round [24, 30, 36]
Rnd 4: ch 1, sc, *sk 2, shell, sk 2 sc* repeat * to * to the end of the rnd, sl st join to the first sc [24, 30, 36]
Rnd 5: 3 sl st, ch 1, sc in same st, *sk 2, shell, sk 2, sc* repeat * to * to the end of the rnd, sl st join to the first sc [24, 30, 36]
Rnds 6 – 10(12, 14): Repeat rnd 5 until work measures approximately: sm – 14 cm (5 1/2″), m – 16.5 cm (6 1/2″), lg – 19 cm (7 1/2″) [14, 20, 26]
Rnd 11 (13, 15): ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each dc in dc in each sc around. Do not sc in the ch sps, sl st to the first sc [14, 20, 26]
Rnd 12 (14, 16): Change to CC; ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to the first sc [14, 20, 26]
Rnd 13 (15, 17): Change to MC; ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to the first sc [14, 20, 26]
Rnd 14 (16, 18): Change to CC; ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to the first sc [14, 20, 26]
Rnd 15 (17, 19): Change to MC; ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st to the first sc [14, 20, 26]
Ruffle
Still with MC;
Rnd 16 (18, 21): ch 1, 2 sc tfl in each st around, sl st into first sc [28, 40, 52]
Rnd 17 (19, 21): ch 1, 2 hdc in each st around, sl st join to first hdc, fasten off [56, 80, 104]
Rnd 18 (20, 22): Attach CC to the first unused loop from Rnd 16 (18, 20). ch 1, 2 sc in each unused loop around, sl st join to first sc [28, 40, 52]
Rnd 19 (21, 23): ch 1, 2 hdc in each st around, sl st join to first hdc [56, 80, 104]
Rnd 20 (22, 24): Change to MC; ch 1, sc in each st around, sl st join to first sc, fasten off [56, 80, 104]
Left Button band
Using 5.00 mm/US H8 hook and CC;
Attach yarn; with RS facing, to the first st of ribbing (at the top of your work).
Row 1: ch 1, sc in each of the 10 sts from ribbing, sc in each of the 3 unjoined row ends, ch 1, sc in each of the 3 unjoined row ends on the opposite side, sc in each of the 10 sts from the ribbing, turn [26 + 1 ch]
Row 2: Working only the one side of the band:
ch 1, sc, *3 ch 3, sk 2, 2 sc* 3 times, turn [7 sc + 3 ch sps]
Row 3: ch 1, *2 sc, sc in each ch of the 3 ch*, repeat to last st, sc, fasten off [16]
Attach buttons to the band, on the opposite side and lined up with buttonholes.
Right Button band
Using 5.00 mm/US H8 hook and CC;
Row 1: ch 1, sc in each of the 10 sts from ribbing, sc in each of the 3 unjoined row ends, ch 1, sc in each of the 3 unjoined row ends on the opposite side, sc in each of the 10 sts from the ribbing, fasten off [26 + 1 ch]
Row 2: Reattach CC to the first sc made for row 1, and working only one side of the band:
ch 1, sc, *3 ch 3, sk 2, 2 sc* 3 times, turn [7 sc + 3 ch sps]
Row 3: ch 1, *2 sc, sc in each ch of the 3 ch*, repeat to last st, sc, fasten off [13]
Attach buttons to the band, on the opposite side and lined up with buttonholes.
Finishing:
Weave in all of your loose ends and enjoy your arm warmers!
