You may notice that changes are happening on the blog from time to time and that sometimes things may look a bit wonky. This is necessary for me to set things up in a way that works for everyone. I am open to suggestions, so feel free to send me yours via the contact me form. Please do not send me spam. Spam will be ignored and the sender will be blocked.

Ad Changes:

I have recently applied to Google to include ads on the blog. As much as I hate doing this, it is a necessary evil if I hope to keep it running. Websites are expensive. I will try to keep the ads set up in a way that isn’t too overwhelming. I will try to block ads that may be considered offensive or could cause issues, such as politics, dating ads, ads for certain apps, etc.

Tech and app ads:

The reason for blocking certain app and tech ads is to avoid ads for drivers and software that could potentially harm your device; as well as the ad that misrepresents itself as a link to download things on the blog. If I can avoid those ads, I will re-enable tech and app ads. If anything on my blog becomes downloadable, I will make sure you can tell it is my link and not an ad disguising itself.

I have been absent lately and am trying to remedy that. Sometimes it is because I’ve been very busy. Sometimes I fall into slumps where I’m not very productive and procrastination seemingly becomes a life goal. I’m working on it, please bear with me. Although I have built many websites and blogs for other people, having a blog of my own is new to me.

Once I get things set up and running more efficiently; changes will be less frequent and I will strive to post at least a couple of times per month, if not weekly. One of my goals is to add most of, if not all of, my patterns to the blog so that people are able to access them for free. Ad-free pdf copies will still be available in my Ravelry and LoveCrafts shops. If there is something you would like to see me add, please let me know.
